A project management professor at Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR) for over 25 years, Pierre Cadieux is also a lecturer and author of a numerous texts on the same subject. He is a regular consultant with businesses on the design and implementation of their project management methodology. Pierre is also a contact person for UQAR’s Centre entrepreneurial étudiant and member of UQAR’s board of directors. Pierre has always been actively involved in his community. Over the years, he has served on a number of boards, including those of the Association pour la protection du lac St-Mathieu and the Centre hospitalier régional de Rimouski. He is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Centre communautaire juridique du Bas-St-Laurent—Gaspésie (more commonly referred to as Legal Aid), the corporate secretary of Alimentation Coop Rimouski, a member of the board of the Lévis-Québec chapter of the Project Management Institute—PMI, and the head of the Rimouski project management interest group. Academically, Pierre holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Université de Moncton, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Université Laval and a Licentiate in Law (LLL) from Université de Montréal. He also holds a Diplôme d’Études approfondies in Management Science (DEA) and a Doctorate in Management Science from Université Aix-Marseilles III in France.
