Youth has only its incompetence to blame but to repeat historical mistakes, it is a “total recall”. Who in our Leadership race is more qualify than John Williams, John Williams…[Read more]

    • I thought this was satire, and maybe it is when I see ”world peace” and the mocking of out of space experiences.

    • Personally I prefer that we elect Mr. Justin Trudeau as national leader in January but I will try to find this man’s Facebook page because a leadership race is a great time to get into serious topics.

    • Personally I would not support John Williams. A few months past I asked him what some of his positions were or what he would support as leader and he did not answer. But he did tell me how he was related to icons of centuries ago, connected to Pierre Trudeau, and gave me the impression that his genes and connections made him the right choice. He…[Read more]

      • On the other hand Mr. Justin Trudeau effectively connects with the average person at meetings unlike just about anybody since William Jefferson Clinton! This astonishing ability to connect to people is an asset that I don’t think we Liberals can afford to overlook!!!!????

Help me help you help Canada help the world,
A couple of months ago, I told Ralph Goodale, my MP, that I was interested in running as a candidate for the Liberal Party of Canada leadership, that will take place in 2013. I let him know why I wanted to run; not only because I am the only bilingual French speaking in the West (to my…[Read more]

    • Honestly, at a critical time for the party with such few seats and optimism for the coming future, I think a majority of people are counting on Justin Trudeau. Given the current popularity he has amassed primarily due to his lineage, it looks like he is becoming a ray of sunshine and a breath of unification among the Liberal youth and overall…[Read more]

I’m fairly sure you aren’t the only bilingual Westerner. Or even the only bilingual Westerner considering the leadership (David Merner).

      • How true! I also am a bilingual Canadian, who lived in SK and AB for 16 years and I know many bilingual Canadians who live in the west. In fact, many of them were born there and they’re called Fransaskois, Franco-Albertains, and Franco-Manitobains. (I forget what those from BC call themselves.) So I’m not sure what his claim to fame is, in that regard.
