One month. That’s all we needed to recruit more than 10,000 new Supporters of the Liberal Party of Canada.
It’s a great start. But, imagine what we could accomplish, if each of our EDAs accepted the challenge of recruiting 1,000 new Supporters this year, and if each of us committed to signing-up 25 Supporters from our personal networks, online and on the ground.
I know I’ve said this many times before: Supporters are the new wave of Liberals in our ridings who will speak up for change, come to local events, become members of our Party, and join the Victory Fund.
With a sophisticated and welcoming engagement strategy, many Supporters will move up the ladder of involvement in our Party, after taking that initial step of putting up their hands to register.
As a Supporter Connector, you will have:
- Access to a private, online strategy space for Supporter recruitment, where you can share best practices, troubleshoot, and get technical support;
- 24/7 access to a network of your fellow Liberal Supporter Connectors across Canada;
- A standing invitation to join me for a monthly conference call where we will issue monthly recruitment challenges and recognize extraordinary achievement from the previous month.
To take part, you have to be a member of the Liberal Party of Canada who is prepared to personally sign-up 25 Supporters by September 30, connect and engage with EDAs, Commissions and community organizations in promoting and advancing the recruitment drive, and commit to doing everything possible to help EDAs recruit 1,000 Supporters in 2012.
If you know others who can or should be approached to be a Connector, please forward this email to them.
We had a great first month. Together, we can build on this momentum, connecting with people across Canada and inspiring them to join our movement.
