Don’t be surprised if it seems Liberals are seeing pink today – we just launched a new edition of The Pink Book.
The Pink Book is a set of policy recommendations for a new Liberal government focused in three areas: women in the economy, women’s health and safety, and equality. Above all, the document is a clear statement of principle: we want a Canada that will provide a strong, secure future for all Canadians.
It’s a sad fact that while the Conservatives are on a partisan spending spree they completely forgot about women. Not only have they consistently rolled back the clock on women’s issues since coming to power, there were no programs aimed directly at women in the 2009 Budget – only attacks on pay equity.
Follow the links and read the document itself below – pretty soon, you too will be seeing pink.
