A note to all viewers:

We thank all participants in this photo challenge who have submitted their entries for consideration.  Our intent was to engage Canadians concerned about the Prime Minister’s reluctance to attend the climate change conference in Copenhagen.

The photos here are created by visitors to our website, and do not always reflect the views of the Liberal Party of Canada.  Though we continue to screen submissions before posting, we have removed certain images that may have been offensive to some viewers.

We apologize for any offence these images may have caused, and continue to strive to present a progressive and dynamic web experience for our site visitors.

Sincerely,
The Web Team

Update: Submissions have now closed. Click here to see the shortlist and vote for our photo challenge winner.

Last week Stephen Harper finally agreed to follow world leaders like Barack Obama to the UN Climate Summit in Copenhagen.

We know that there are many, many places that Harper would rather be than Copenhagen next week—and we want you to use your mad Photoshop skills to illustrate them for us!

Now, this wouldn’t be a challenge without a winner. That’s why we’ve lined up these exciting prizes for the 3 best entries:

How to enter – 3 easy steps.

1.       Click here to download the image of Stephen Harper.

2.       Find a photo of a place you know Harper would rather be than Copenhagen and stick him in it.

3.       Email your challenge entry to HarperCOP15@email.liberal.ca and don’t forget to include your first and last name, your telephone number so we can contact you if you win, and your home address so we can send you your prize.

We’ll post every entry we receive in the coming days (as long as it’s not inappropriate) and announce the winners on December 14, 2009.

Good luck!
