Introducing the new Community Facebook App

Posted on August 27, 2012 | No Comments

Liberal Party of Canada members now have their very own Facebook App.

That’s because we’ve launched a new Facebook App that brings the Community to your very own Facebook profile. It’s never been easier for members to connect locally and nationally to get organized, and strengthen our presence in our ridings.

We’ve also introduced a number of improvements to the community recently, including:

•    Emailed notifications of new comments and responses to your posts. You can easily change setting to receive instant, daily and weekly notifications. The default is a daily digest;
•    The most recent posts in the Community now gravitate to the top, just like on Facebook, so you can easily see the most recent comments and join ongoing discussions;
•    Thumbs up and thumbs down buttons on comments so you can indicate your approval on other members’ comment. You can also flag comments that are inappropriate for review; and
•    Trending topics and recent conversations are now highlighted so you can join key conversations and have your say.

Our goal is for to be the hub of the Liberal movement in Canada as we compete with the other parties already engaged in the permanent campaign to engage Canadians.

Click here to install the Community on Facebook app right now.

Thank you.
