When the Canada flag is raised next Canada Day 2013, we will have chosen a new Liberal Leader in a Leadership Race that captured the imagination of Canadians.
But for that to happen we need to raise our flag now.
That’s why I’m calling on all Liberals to join the Raise Our Flag campaign, in honor of our country’s 145th anniversary, to raise $100,145 and sign up 10,145 supporters, before midnight Saturday, June 30.
There are two ways to get involved: help us reach our fundraising goal of $100,145 to put on the open and exciting leadership race that Canadians want and deserve or be one of the 10,145 Canadians who signs up for free to take part in our upcoming leadership race.
Which option do you choose?

This July 1, the Canada we celebrate is a different one than last year.
It’s a nation with weaker environmental laws. Where we must work longer to retire with fewer savings. A nation where a woman’s right to choose is being questioned. And where critics are bullied, silenced, or even fired.
Stephen Harper can tear down our institutions, silence critics, and damage our democracy. He can try all he wants to destroy our Party. But he will not take down our flag.
In this leadership race, every voice counts. And every person we reach can help elect our next Leader. It’s another big step as we rebuild our Party and shake up Canadian politics.
But we can only do it if you, and thousands like you, raise our flag.
I’m asking you to tap into the same integrity, passion and determination we saw from our Liberal caucus as they spent 22 non-stop hours fighting the Omnibus Budget Bill to protect the Canada we believe in.
Please give $5 to our Raise Our Flag campaign right now or click here to sign up as a supporter.
Thank you.

im really looking forward to the Leadership Vote next spring!! Hopefully we Elect the Right Leader so we can win the next Election!
We need some strong policy statements NOW! Spring 2013 is too long
to wait for a new leader. Need much more time for HIM, not a she, to establish himself in House of Commons, QP debates etc before Cons destroy him as they did Dion and Ignatief
It is too soon for Canada to accept a woman PM so if you elect a woman leader you are doomed for sure
