Michael Ignatieff speaks at the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations
On Tuesday, Michael Ignatieff gave a keynote address to the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations. His theme was “Rebuilding Canada’s leadership on the world stage.”
But here I go, getting ahead of myself. You can read the prepared text of the speech here. But as regular readers of this blog will know, Michael Ignatieff doesn’t give super-scripted speeches — that’s the other guy. Tuesday’s speech was no different. Fortunately, I was in Montreal to cover it live.
Listen the audio of the speech here (and don’t forget to Subscribe to our podcast).
You can learn more about the Liberal Party’s plan to restore Canada’s global leadership by reading our foreign policy platform, which Michael Ignatieff announced last June. It’s called Canada in the World: A Global Networks Strategy Next time you’re looking to curl up by the fire with a good public policy tract, check it out. I know I will.
