I hope we’ll have the chance to connect at the reception – I look forward to hearing from you.

Here are the details.

Charter of Rights and Freedoms Reception
Tuesday, April 17, 2012, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Charter has made Canada the envy of the world. Its promise of fairness, justice and opportunity is a beacon of hope that has drawn millions of new Canadians to our shores.

And thirty years ago, it was a passionate and determined Liberal Minister of Justice named Jean Chrétien, working alongside Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, who enshrined in the Charter our most cherished Canadian values.

If you have any questions or special requirements, please contact Whitney Coccimiglio at or by phone at 1-613-783-8872.

Thank you.
