Vancouver 2010, Day 5: Farewell for now

olympics

This morning, Zsuzsanna and I flew back to Ottawa.

Vancouver is tough to leave at the best of times. This time, it’s nearly impossible—especially with Canada’s men’s hockey team set to take to the ice for the first time today.

We’ll be watching the Games on TV for the next week, before we get back to Vancouver for the final days of excitement. Until then—go Canada go!

UPDATE: Just got home from Vancouver and heard about another Canadian gold. Congratulations Maeller Ricker!

Michael Ignatieff will be blogging and tweeting his experiences during the Vancouver Olympic Games. Check back here for updates!
