I couldn’t say it better my
    self!

I would agree, he would definitely be a game changer if he entered the leadership race. He is very popular outside of Quebec and his commitment to a united Canada is unquestioned. If voters who supported the Conservatives last time are looking for a change, Charest would be a credible and comfortable alternative as opposed to Tom Mulcair and his band of lightweights. That being said, he has roots in the federal Conservatives so he may wait for his chance to replace Harper.

The questions that Bob Rae poses are bang on. The Liberal party needs to defend the role of a strong federal government in addressing these problems.

Bob Rae, at the beginning of his speech respectfully addresses Madame Marois and congratulates her in an appropriate way. What does Thomas Mulcair do? Calls Christy Clark, Brad Wall, and Alison Redford “Harper’s messengers” and then comes to Ontario and tells Dalton Mcguinty how disgraceful he is for his very recent “right-of-centre” economic policies.

Another fine speech by interim Leader Bob Rae….At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I am again requesting that translations of the French portions of the leaders speeches be translated into English. My French is poor, something that I am not proud of…..but it annoys me to see Members of Parliament with headphones on, listening to the speech presumably to an English/French or French/English translation of Mr. Rae’s speech, while ordinary members, who would like to listen to ALL of Mr. Rae’s words, are unable to do so….Id even be happy with a printed text a few days following if cost/logistics make a real time translation impossible….My two cents…
