TORONTO– Liberal Leader Bob Rae made the following statement today on Thanksgiving:
“Today, we gather with our families and friends to break bread and give thanks for life’s many blessings.
While Canada is blessed with natural abundance, we must remember that not everyone benefits equally from this bounty. So at Thanksgiving, we also consider those less fortunate and take time to share what we have with others.
On behalf of the Liberal Party of Canada and our Parliamentary Caucus, I wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving.”
