Liberal Leader Bob Rae made the following statement today on the Independence Day of the Republic of Macedonia:
“I would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the Macedonian-Canadian community and its contributions to Canadian society. Canadians of Macedonian descent can be very proud of their contribution to the growth of this country. It is my hope that you will continue to foster such fellowship while contributing to a strong and harmonious Canada.
On behalf of the Liberal Party of Canada and our Parliamentary Caucus, please accept my best wishes on this Independence Day.”
