Your Candidate for Peace River-Westlock
A community leader, journalist and activist, Chris Brown is ready to be the community of Peace River–Westlock’s strong voice in Ottawa. Born in rural Ontario, Chris first moved to Saskatchewan to pursue his career in journalism. He later moved to Slave Lake to take on his current role as Communications Coordinator for the Town of Slave Lake. He is the recipient of the 2015 Saskatchewan Weekly Newspaper Award for his work in arts and culture. Chris has been an active member of the artistic community for many years, joining a theatre company and pursuing photography in his free time. Determined to bring real, positive change to his community, he is eager to defend the interests of his constituents in Parliament. Christopher earned his degree in Broadcast Journalism from Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario. He currently resides in Faust, Alberta.
