Local farmers and agriculture producers endorse Mary Jean McFall

Brockville, ON – With less than a week remaining in this important by-election, a growing list of local farmers and agricultural producers from across Leeds—Grenville—Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes are supporting Mary Jean McFall and Team Trudeau as the strongest voice for our region.

“I know this riding and our communities, and I know the priorities and needs of local farmers and agriculture producers,” said Mary Jean McFall. “Justin Trudeau and I are the only team with a positive plan to strengthen our middle class, create well-paying new jobs, protect our local farming and agriculture industries, and make life better for families right here in Leeds—Grenville—Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes. “

Mary Jean’s growing list of local farmers and agriculture producers supporting her campaign include:

  • Kim Sytsma – President of Leeds Federation of Agriculture: “Farmers are benefitting from Justin Trudeau and the Liberal government’s plan to make investments in our agriculture and our farming communities – and now our region has the opportunity to benefit from having Mary Jean McFall as our next Member of Parliament.”
  • Paul Henderson – Dairy Farmer, Kenora Farms : “I’ve worked with Mary Jean in a variety of capacities over the years, Including her time as the Chief of Staff for Minister MacAulay, and I know there is no better advocate for farmers and the agriculture industry. It’s time for a change in our region, and Mary Jean McFall is the person for the job.”
  • Philip Morrison – Frankville Country Dairy and Cash Crop Farmer: “I have no doubt that Mary Jean McFall will be a valued friend and advocate for dairy farmers and producers in our region. Her experience and dedication, both in our region and for Canada’s agricultural sectors, is unmatched.”

On December 3, the people in our region have the opportunity to elect the strongest voice for our communities, and Mary Jean McFall will never stop working hard for workers and their families in Leeds—Grenville—Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes.
