Mary Jean McFall announces her top four priorities for Leeds—Grenville—Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes

Brockville, ON – With election day on Monday, Mary Jean McFall is outlining her top four priorities for the families of Leeds—Grenville—Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes.

“On December 3rd, our communities have a choice between moving our region forward, or returning to the same failed policies of Stephen Harper – ones that left too many families falling behind,” said Mary Jean McFall. “Leeds—Grenville—Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes needs a strong and trusted leader on Justin Trudeau’s team in government – and that’s exactly what I will be as your next Member of Parliament.”

Four of Mary Jean McFall’s leading priorities for this riding include:

  • Growing our economy and creating good middle class jobs right here in our region, including standing up for local farmers and producers.
  • Lower taxes for middle class families and small businesses, more money for families with children, and investing in skills training and new opportunities for young people.
  • Investing in better roads, bridges, and local infrastructure – including new affordable housing and broadband.
  • Supporting stronger pensions and better health care and home care for our seniors and loved ones.

Justin Trudeau and Mary Jean McFall are the only team with a positive plan to strengthen our local economy, grow the middle class, protect farmers and local agriculture industries, and stand up for families right here in our region. Now more than ever, we can’t risk letting the Conservatives and Andrew Scheer stand in the way of the support that families need here in our communities.
