Kevin Lamoureux

Kevin Lamoureux is the Liberal candidate and current Member of Parliament for the riding of Winnipeg North. Kevin has a long history of service to his country, which began when he joined the Canadian Forces in 1982. Shortly after the conclusion of his service to the military, he was elected to Manitoba’s Legislative Assembly, where he won a total of five elections between 1988 and 2007.

As an MLA, Kevin championed many programs and issues, including the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, as well as a number of issues related to healthcare.

Kevin was elected as the Member of Parliament for Winnipeg North in 2010. His extensive work in the Manitoba Legislature, including the various critic roles he held, has proven to be a crucial asset in his current role as Liberal Deputy House Leader.

Kevin is also known for his outreach efforts within his community. On any given Saturday he can be found at the local McDonald’s Restaurant on Keewatin Street between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., meeting with his constituents.
